Scope of Service
INDIVIDUALIZED TRAINING
Assessment conducted by EIP professional team and training to be provided according to the visual needs of each individual child
GROUP ACTIVITIES
Activities held based on the visual needs of children
(e.g. baby massage, sensory group, low vision social group, pre-writing group, etc.)
FAMILY SUPPORT
Counseling, home visits, enquiry and referral services are provided for families in need
Parent education including talks and workshops to help parents to better understand the visual needs and development of their children
Enhance parent-child communication as well as peer support through family mass programmes
Books on visual impairment and parenting are available for parents
COMMUNITY EDUCATION
Increase the public awareness of the visual needs and development of children
